A veteran senior executive with an extensive background in health care finance has been named vice president of finance - chief financial officer for Methodist Health System.
Jeffrey Francis comes to Methodist with 25 years of financial management experience obtained through a variety of health care organizations throughout the nation.
Most recently, he served as chief administrative and financial officer of Ministry Healthcare in Milwaukee, Wisc., a 1,200 bed and 15 hospital health care system. Among his accomplishments was the implementation of a cost reduction program that reduced expenses by $45 million.
Prior to Milwaukee, Francis worked at Parkview Health in Fort Wayne, Ind., where he began as director of accounting/controller and was later named senior vice president, finance and chief financial officer.
Francis is no stranger to Omaha. He earned his master's in business administration from Creighton University. Francis began his career at First National Bank in Omaha, was operations director for Alegent Health and then worked as a senior manager in finance for Marriott International.
